About this plant

'Colorama' is a dragon tree with extra color. Its thin, arching leaves are striped pink-red, cream and green, with more pink than the standard dragon tree, and they fan out from the stem in a lively burst.

Give it bright light for the best color; in dimmer spots the pink fades. Let the soil dry to the touch between waterings, and keep it away from cold drafts and heating vents. Brown leaf tips usually point to dry air or too much water.

Choose a 4 or 6 inch pot. It grows upright over time into a slender, tree-like plant, and it brings a pop of color to a modern room.

The ASPCA lists the dragon tree (Dracaena marginata) as toxic to cats and dogs, so keep it out of reach of cats and dogs.

From November to April, we recommend adding Winter Plant Shipping Protection (a heat pack) at checkout. Plants shipped in cold weather without it are not covered for cold damage.
