About this plant
Philodendron 'Painted Lady' is a climbing hybrid with leaves in bright lime and yellow-green, speckled and mottled with darker green as if someone flicked a paintbrush over them. It brings a burst of color to a shelf or a bookcase near a window.
Bright, indirect light keeps the color at its brightest; in lower light the leaves turn greener. Water when the top inch or two of soil is dry, then let the pot drain. It grows quickly, so give it a moss pole or let it trail.
Choose a 4 or 6 inch pot. It is easy and fast, a good pick for someone who wants a colorful plant that rewards a little attention with plenty of new leaves.
The ASPCA lists Philodendron as toxic to cats and dogs, so keep it out of reach of cats and dogs.
From November to April, we recommend adding Winter Plant Shipping Protection (a heat pack) at checkout. Plants shipped in cold weather without it are not covered for cold damage.
