About this plant
Perfectly round, coin-shaped leaves sit on long stems around a central stalk, so the plant looks like a little bouquet of green saucers. A healthy plant sends up small pups from the soil that you can separate and pot up for friends.
Bright, indirect light keeps it compact and full. It leans toward the window, so give it a turn once a week to keep it upright. Water when the top inch or two of soil is dry and let the excess drain away. Curling or drooping leaves usually mean it wants more light or a drink.
It stays about a foot tall, which suits a desk, a kitchen windowsill or a bookshelf with good light, and it is a fun first plant for kids and new plant owners.
From November to April, we recommend adding Winter Plant Shipping Protection (a heat pack) at checkout. Plants shipped in cold weather without it are not covered for cold damage.
