About this plant

Saxifraga 'Tricolor' grows low, rounded leaves in grey-green, edged with creamy white and pink, with reddish undersides. It sends out thin runners that carry tiny baby plants, much like a strawberry plant does.

That habit earns it the nickname strawberry begonia, though it is not a begonia at all. Give it bright, indirect light and keep the soil lightly moist, never soggy, in a well draining mix. It prefers a cool room to a hot one.

It is in stock in a 4 inch pot. Let the runners dangle from a shelf, or pin a baby plant onto a small pot of soil to start a new one. It is a charming little gift for a plant lover.
