About this plant
Raindrop peperomia, also called coin-leaf peperomia, grows glossy, fleshy leaves shaped like fat raindrops on upright stems. The shine and the shape make it look almost sculpted.
Give it bright, filtered light. The leaves store water, which makes it easy to overwater, so wait until the soil is mostly dry and err on the dry side when in doubt. Empty the saucer after watering.
Choose a 4 or 6 inch pot. It stays tidy and compact on a desk or windowsill, and its cheerful leaves make it a lovely little gift for a friend or coworker.
From November to April, we recommend adding Winter Plant Shipping Protection (a heat pack) at checkout. Plants shipped in cold weather without it are not covered for cold damage.
