About this plant

Philodendron 'Congo Green' does not vine. It is a self-heading philodendron, with thick, glossy, dark green leaves on stiff stems that grow up and out from the center in a neat, upright clump.

It tolerates lower light well and does best in medium, indirect light. Water when the top inch or two of soil is dry, then let the pot drain fully. Wipe the broad leaves occasionally to keep them shiny.

Choose a 4 or 6 inch pot. It is an easy, tidy plant for offices, bedrooms and corners away from the window, and a good choice for anyone who prefers a plant that keeps its shape.
