About this plant
Philodendron 'Orange Marmalade', also called 'Quadcolor', paints its leaves in four shades: orange, yellow, cream and green. New leaves open the brightest and mellow as they age, so the plant carries a warm range of color at once.
Bright, indirect light is what keeps the variegation strong; in a dim spot new leaves tend to come in greener. Water when the top inch of soil is dry and let the pot drain. For a collector plant it is fairly easy to grow.
It comes in a 4 inch pot, the size in stock now. Variegation varies from plant to plant, so no two are quite alike. It makes a cheerful gift for a plant lover who already has the classics.
The ASPCA lists Philodendron as toxic to cats and dogs, so keep it out of reach of cats and dogs.
