Rare Plants
Some plants are worth the hunt. This is where we keep the collector plants: unusual leaf shapes, striking variegation and varieties that are hard to find in stores. Rare plants often come in small numbers, so when one sells out it may not be back for a while.
Most are tropical and like what their more common cousins like: bright, indirect light, steady warmth, extra humidity when the heat is on in winter, and soil that stays lightly moist but never soggy. Read each plant's notes before you buy, since a few are fussier than the rest. A variegated plant is a living thing, so the pattern on yours will be its own and may differ from the photo.
Every plant ships on its own, separately from any spade in your order.

From the garden shed
For the garden outside
Plenty of house plants spend the summer on the porch, and every gardener has a bed waiting outside. The Spear Head Spade starts the cut like a spear and finishes it like a spade. It is what our family business makes.
