About this plant

This is a jungle cactus, not a desert one. Its long, flat green stems are deeply lobed along both edges, like a fern frond or a row of shark teeth. They arch upward at first, then trail as they lengthen.

Give it bright, indirect light rather than hot direct sun. Plant it in a chunky, fast draining mix and water when the top of the soil has dried; unlike desert cacti, it does not want to stay bone dry for long. It enjoys some humidity.

Choose a 3 or 6 inch pot; one photo shows the 6 inch in a hanging pot. It is an unusual plant for a collector or anyone who likes something different on the shelf.

From November to April, we recommend adding Winter Plant Shipping Protection (a heat pack) at checkout. Plants shipped in cold weather without it are not covered for cold damage.
