About this plant

This arrowhead plant brings a burst of color: arrow-shaped leaves in bright lime to golden yellow, traced with paler veins. Set against darker foliage, it lights up a shelf.

It is easy to keep. Medium to bright indirect light holds the golden tone; too little light turns it greener. Keep the soil lightly moist, watering when the top inch dries. As it matures it begins to climb or trail, so pinch the tips if you prefer a bushy shape.

It comes in a 4 inch pot that suits a desk, a windowsill or a bright bathroom. A cheerful, low-effort plant for beginners.

The ASPCA lists the arrowhead plant (Syngonium podophyllum) as toxic to cats and dogs, so keep it out of reach of cats and dogs.

From November to April, we recommend adding Winter Plant Shipping Protection (a heat pack) at checkout. Plants shipped in cold weather without it are not covered for cold damage.
