Pot size guide

How big is each size?

Sizes are named by the pot's width across the top. The bands show a typical overall height for a plant in that pot. It is a general guide only: every plant grows a little differently, and each plant in this set has its own pot.

3" pot: about 4 to 8 inches tall, pot included
4" pot: about 6 to 12 inches tall, pot included
6" pot: about 10 to 18 inches tall, pot included

About this plant

A bundle for apartments, offices and north-facing rooms: four houseplants that tolerate low light. You get a snake plant 'Laurentii', a red prayer plant, a golden pothos and a heartleaf philodendron. Choose 3, 4 or 6 inch pots. If one is out of stock, a similar low light plant may be substituted.

Keep them out of direct sun and away from cold drafts. The snake plant wants to dry out completely between waterings; the pothos and philodendron like water when the top inch is dry; the prayer plant prefers its soil evenly moist.

Upright, trailing and patterned plants in one box, so even a dim room gets some green. A practical gift for someone in a city apartment.

The ASPCA lists the snake plant, pothos and heartleaf philodendron as toxic to cats and dogs and the prayer plant as non-toxic, so place this bundle out of reach of cats and dogs.

From November to April, we recommend adding Winter Plant Shipping Protection (a heat pack) at checkout. Plants shipped in cold weather without it are not covered for cold damage.
