About this plant
Neon pothos has heart-shaped leaves in a bright chartreuse that seems to glow, especially beside darker foliage. New leaves open almost yellow and settle into a vivid lime.
It tolerates low light, but medium to bright, indirect light keeps the color at its most electric; in a very dim spot the leaves turn darker and smaller. Water when the top inch or two of soil is dry and let it drain. Like every pothos, it droops a little when thirsty and bounces back fast.
The vines trail from shelves and hanging pots or climb a moss pole, and cuttings root readily in water. A good way to brighten a room without adding flowers.
The ASPCA lists pothos (Epipremnum aureum) as toxic to cats and dogs, so keep it out of reach of cats and dogs.
From November to April, we recommend adding Winter Plant Shipping Protection (a heat pack) at checkout. Plants shipped in cold weather without it are not covered for cold damage.
