About this plant
Scindapsus 'Moonlight', also called 'Sterling Silver', has thick, oval to lance-shaped leaves with a soft silvery sheen that seems to glow when light hits it. It grows slowly and stays compact.
It tolerates lower light and grows a little faster in medium to bright, indirect light. Let the soil dry about halfway down before watering, then water thoroughly. It can climb a small pole or trail from a shelf.
Choose a 4 or 6 inch pot. It is an easy, uncommon plant for a collector, and a good choice for an office or a room without much sun.
The ASPCA lists Scindapsus as toxic to cats and dogs, so keep it out of reach of cats and dogs.
From November to April, we recommend adding Winter Plant Shipping Protection (a heat pack) at checkout. Plants shipped in cold weather without it are not covered for cold damage.
