About this plant
Laurentii is the classic snake plant: stiff, upright leaves banded in gray green and edged with a golden yellow stripe. It adds strong vertical lines to a room and looks good in modern and traditional spaces alike.
It handles low light, bright light and even some direct sun, so it fits almost anywhere. Water only when the soil is completely dry, usually every 2 to 4 weeks, and even less in winter. Overwatering is really the only way to lose one.
Snake plants grow slowly and stay upright, so they suit narrow spaces, corners, bedrooms and offices. The larger pots make a handsome floor plant. A great pick for travelers and anyone new to plants.
The ASPCA lists the snake plant (Sansevieria trifasciata) as toxic to cats and dogs, so keep it out of reach of cats and dogs.
From November to April, we recommend adding Winter Plant Shipping Protection (a heat pack) at checkout. Plants shipped in cold weather without it are not covered for cold damage.
