About this plant
'Sayuri', also sold as Metallica or Silver Siam, grows upright, silvery green leaves with a soft metallic sheen and faint darker banding. In a room with good light it almost glows.
It tolerates lower light, but plenty of indirect light keeps the silver at its best. Water when the soil is completely dry, then let the pot drain. Like all snake plants, it prefers to be a little too dry rather than too wet, especially in winter.
It comes in a 6 inch pot, a good size for a side table or a wide sill. An easy, striking choice for beginners and collectors alike.
The ASPCA lists the snake plant as toxic to cats and dogs, so keep it out of reach of cats and dogs.
